cambridge key eglish test / ket / Reading and Writing / Part 1 / matching

This page will help you practise for the Key English Test (from Cambridge ESOL). This is the format of the first part of the reading and writing section. You have to match 5 sentences (plus one example) to 8 notices.

When you do Part 1 for the Key English Test :
1) read all the questions and notices first.
2) look for words that mean the same thing. For example: 'do not pay' = 'free', 'leave their car' = 'parking', 'bags' = 'luggage'. This will help you choose an answer.
During your studies learn words that have the same or almost the same meaning. These words are called synonyms and are very important!
