        Dear Debbie,

Thanks very much for your letter, which arrived more than six weeks ago! I (mean) (1) [input answers="have meant"/]  to reply to it for ages, but just (not have) (2)  [input answers="haven't had"/]  time.
As you (know) (3) [input answers="know"/]  I (start) (4) [input answers="started"/]  a new job at the beginning of the month and I (work) (5) [input answers="have been working"/]  incredibly hard ever since. It's quite interesting, and I (like) (6) [input answers="like"/]  my new boss, but I (not finish) (7) [input answers="don't finish"/]  until six o'clock and when I (get) (8) [input answers="get"/]  home, I'm too tired to do anything! Anyway, I (tell) (9) [input answers="will tell"/]  you all about it another time.

I (take) (10) [input answers="am taking"/]  a week's holiday very soon and I (think) (11) [input answers="am thinking"/]  of coming to London the weekend after next. My sister (invite) (12) [input answers="has invited"/]  me to stay with her for a few days because her husband (go) (13) [input answers="is going"/]  to France on business for a week. You (make) (14) [input answers="Have you made"/]  any plans for the weekend? If not, let's meet for lunch on the Saturday or Sunday. It's ages since I last (see) (15) [input answers="saw"/]  you and I (have) (16) [input answers="have"/]  lots to tell you. Anyway, I (phone) (17) [input answers="will phone"/]  you during the week to see if you (be) (18) [input answers="will be"/]  free.

        With love,

                                Hillary Clinton

        Dear Carol,

Many apologies for not replying to your letter earlier, but I've been awfully busy. Thanks very much for (invite) (19) [input answers="inviting"/]  with you over the bank holiday weekend. Of course, I would like to come.
However, instead of driving as I usually (do) (20) [input answers="do"/]  I (decide) (21) [input answers="have decided"/]  to come by train, as I don't fancy (sit) (22) [input answers="sitting"/]  in a traffic jam for hours! As you know, (drive) (23) [input answers="driving"/]  on a bank holiday is always a murder!
I (plan) (24) [input answers="am planning"/]  to catch the 8.45 from Waterloo Station, which (get) (25) [input answers="gets"/]  in about eleven o'clock. Please don't worry about (meet) (26) [input answers="meeting"/]  me at the station. It isn't far to your house, so I don't mind (walk) (27) [input answers="walking"/] . In fact, after (sit) (28) [input answers="sitting"/]  for a couple of hours on a crowded train, I (enjoy) (29) [input answers="will enjoy"/]  the fresh air!
By the way, I'd like to bring something for the children. I (think) (30) [input answers="am thinking"/]  of getting them each a book. They still (like) (31) [input answers="Do they still like"/]  to read, or they (prefer) (32) [input answers="would prefer"/]  to have something else? What do you think?

I must say, I'm really looking forward to (see) (33) [input answers="seeing"/]  you again. I (get) (34) [input answers="have got"/]  some interesting news. I want (tell) (35) [input answers="to tell"/]  you, but it (have) (36) [input answers="will have"/]  (wait) (37) [input answers="to wait"/]  untill I (see) (38) [input answers="see"/]  you. Anyway, do remember (let) (39) [input answers="to let"/]  me (know) (40) [input answers="know"/]  about the children.

            See you soon.

                     Love,

                           Theresa May
